19th Feb. Diano Marina

Not a lot to report, just taking in the town and basically wandering. Nice to chill for a while.
On the wheel repair front, not much action. The Tallies don't do emails, and of course I can't speak Italian so not much happening. If they worked with email, I can translate text using tinternet, but they don't.
So, I have employed the services of a translator/interpreter. Just to make the booking with the garage. The whole problem is, we need the vehicle back the same day, i.e. it's our only accommodation...blah, blah..
The chances of me having this conversation with a garage is slim to difficult, so call in the professionals!!
Turns out the nearest garage can't touch us for 2 weeks, no use to man nor beast, so we are awaiting a response from a couple of other garages.
I think we will end up driving to Nice (France) to get it repaired. I can handle French a bit better. It's only about 50 miles up the coast.
Have spoken to the woman at the campsite we're going to in Nice, I think she's English, so at least the place is definitely open!!
Will keep you posted, in the meantime, here's pictures of tooters having fun.
Sorry for the ‘Katie’ fest of photos, there are a few aunties wanting a minute by minute update of her progress!

17th Feb. Diano Marina

No dramas today, sorry!
No life threatening ordeals, no major catastrophies, no flat batteries....aahhhh,. peace.
Still in Diano Marina, walked along the water front today, almost to San Remo, it felt like. Came home and chilled out. Had another wander in the afternoon.
This is what it was meant to be like.
Anyway, a couple of pics to tide you over, I know i look a bit miserable, it was a snap shot, and not a true likeness.. at all!!
Young miss tooters is having a whale of time, the tallies love her in the pouch.. They physically stop you as your walking with great long....Mama mia!, belicimo! Bella bambina! or words to that effect. Who knows what their saying but it sounds positive!?
So she's quite happy with the attention.
Hello it's Sandra here.. Katie is long ago in bed and we are doing our usual game of eye spy. No telly you see. I do miss my Eastenders.. So I've decided the key to actually enjoying this camping nonsense is to hide the keys and sat nav from Ian and stay put. Brilliant, we walk every where and take time to enjoy our surroundings. He doesn’t even need to move to get water. Although today he started to design a DIY hose to empty our waste water. I watched him cut a hole in Katie's empty SMA milk tin and thought Ian your getting more like your dad every day! Hay ho and on we go xxx
